I was just thinking how much I would like HID angel eyes BMWs have, and then I thought about el wire. If I put like 2 wire in each headlight, would it look good?

What if I had something that was really narrow, and was already a circle, and used it as a guide for the wire?

I would just do the custom Angel Eye thing....get those clear arcrylic curtain rods,heat it up,bend it around a glass jar,like a peanut butter jar,then take a dremel and go around it make little cuts and then mount it in the headlight and put one or two LED's(color is your choice) and you have some the BMW style,maybe not the projector style but close enough.....Theres a couple guys here that have already done it and both looked great,Cmnky and Jeremy(pre_.......)

Custom eyes are like 500 for a retro fit, HIDtech.com will do it for you just dont have them make them because they do a CRAP job.

i know some one on here has it 2000 sc/t or what ever did it his are the best.

When ever i get some extra money i am going to try and put fan cathodes in a set of extra headlights that i have and see how it looks. Computer geeks use them to light up their computer's.:lol:

I have REAL BMW OEM angel eyes in my headlights :D Good stuff there, no immatations here.

Dont do that neon rope light thats just ghetto. If you cant do it right dont do it at all. BTW you can get the fake angel eyes on e-bay wehre people have made them out of acrylic rods for cheap.

I think I'm going to do the acrylic rod thing myself. Looks pretty easy, just need to spend some time on it.

couldn't you buy BMW lamps and take the angel eyes out of them? procarparts sells complete BMW headlamp sets for ~ $180
