over the past few afternoons, I removed the crappy cathodes that I had in the interior, and did a nice upgrade. Installed Custom LED lighting. Below are pictures of the LED bars that I made from scratch that go under the seats for the back seat. I made similar ones for the under front dash. So that covers the feet area. I find the ligh amount is JUST perfect even for highway driving :) Now for the really nice custom part. I put in three LED's under the radio in the adaptor kit. Looks really cool.. Then I put in a light in the side of the cup holder, where there is a white likght that sorta shines through. I sit my ipod in there, and I got it just right so when the lights are on, it hits the ipod, and glows all around the cover on it.

Next up is LED underbodies, which I've been waiting for the store to get them in for a month.. Someday they will be in.

Total LEDs used so far, is 22. Almost half way through my 50 pack :)

Looks good.

Now if i remember correctly you were the one that i got into an aruguement about a while back about the green cathodes. I said they break and they were crap and to do LED's and you said they were the best thing since sliced bread so you stuck some under your car.... You were the one with green cathodes right?

We all got to try our own thing out and see what we like best anyways.

besides cathodes and neons are out of style and LED's is the new thing. Wont be long we will be seeing LED headlights on the newer more expensive cars ;)

and I LOVE LED's.. hehe.. They already make LED street lights (white ones, not traffic signals), although they do traffic signals ofcourse and flashlights. Just a matter of prices comming down for the really bright ones :D

yes.. I drilled holes in the one piece to put the LED's in, and they fit in snug perfect so I just friction fit them in..

did all my wiring and soldering.. put on resistors, all wired in parallel.. Took till the third one to get it to look 'neat', but you don't see these NE ways.. and then sandwiched it wiht more plexiglass so nothing moves, and nothign shorts out :)

skuffin the plexi w/ 400 grit sand paper always works for dispersition, makes it like a neon almost....
