hey everyone... I got a questiong... anyone have an idea what might make a grinding sound from my drivers side front wheel when I accelerate? it's a loud metal on metal grinding sound... not sure what it is! I dont know crap about cars... lol...

Could be the CV joint. If you get under the car, look at the back of the wheels, there is a shaft that runs from the wheel to the trany. There is one on both sides.
part way down the shaft is a rubber boot. It Should not have a whole or crack in it. If there is you will see a lot of grease slung around the motor area by the crack in the boot.
If there is grease every where the CV is shot. Time for a new one.
In most cases it is eaiser to change the whole shaft not just the CV joint. As the shaft has to be removed to remove the CV joint.
If you just replace the shaft at that point you save LABOR HOURS changing out the CV.
Also next time you drive the car a few miles, get out and put your hand down by the center of the wheel. Feel for HEAT. if it is hot the a front bearing may be going out.
