Ok. So, I like the SC/T wing on the newer GA's, and I wanted to kind of emulate that look with my 97. Rather than spend the money on an SC/T wing, I got an 04 Mustang GT wing on Ebay for 20 DOLLARS!!!. Me and my boys installed it today, and here's some pics.

My freind took the pics. He organized them into angles, so i'll do the same.

Here are the process pics from straight on.

Overall, i'm pleased with it. It doesn't fit perfect, but some black foam solved that problem. The inside of the struts don't go down all the way, but it's not visible, becuase of the contour of the trunk. At first, I got it black with the intention of painting it. However, I really like how it looks black. I think it will accent what else I want to do (light blackouts front and back, tint), so i'm gonna keep it black at least for the time being.

So, excuse me while I go cruise with my new wing....

Looks good. Something different without being outragous and tacky. Good work.

Yes, it is black. I'm alittle strapped for cash, and didn't get it painted. However, I kind of like the look of the black, so i'm just gonna leave it like that for awhile. I'll probably eventually paint it, but I want to see what it looks like with the rest of my mods I plan on eventually doing.

And thanks for the support!

wow. i just gotta say that that dont look like what a stang would have, i guess that what makes it look good on a GA. it doesnt stand out like a early early '90's stang wing.

Once again thanks for all the support! I have a question too. What do you guys think about keeping it black? Bear in mind I plan on getting black tint and light blackouts, keeping the black and green theme going (maybe even a black hood down the line)....?

paint it!

hmm... the rear on the GA is curved, so the flat spoiler looks a bit out of place... either way, good way of making it unique without goin crazy.

how did you cover the other holes?? make sure they don't get rusted!

That was the only real ghetto-ing of the process. I simply had no idea what to do with them. You can't see them (unless you specifically look under the wing for them...), so I didn't bother doing anything on the outside. On the inside, I siliconed a peice of electrical tape...

I'd like to get some plugs or something. That was a temporary fix.

um, you need to think of something like painting the holes over. water will get to the holes under the wing. and rust is public enemy #1.

Subtle yet noticable. I like it.
