I searched this forum to see if my question could be answered but I'm gonna ask again if I could fix this myself.
Since I first got the car about a year ago the window was always a little off track. I would have to open the door and pull the front side of the window to close it properly. I rolled my window all the way down yesterday and as I finished rolling it down I heard something fall off and clang on the bottom of the inside of my door. Since then I have been able to roll it all the way up, but as I tried to roll it back down again a little it just fell and now my window on the driver side of my 2dr looks like a shark fin sticking out of the water.
I have been able to completely take off my door panel and can see that metal arm attached to the bottom of the glass on the side closest to the rear and the glass is toward the bottom of the door on the side closest to the front.
Is this easy to fix myself? I'm gonna try. If I have to take it somewhere does anybody have any idea how much this might cost me?

You probably need a new window regulator, and then have it installed. It would probably run a few hundred, thats what mine was when I had to have it fixed.

few hundred?!
I ot my door panel off, it was really pretty easy, yeah I saw that arm, the clip is broken on the side closest to the front. My dad thought up a pretty good idea, so we pushed the window up so it's completely closed, then he drilled through the two arms where they meet, then he put a bolt through there. Now i have no control over my window, at least it's up and I have a good air conditioner for this summer if I'm going to leave it like that for a while which I probably will if it's a couple hundred, wow. Thanks for your input, guys.

I found a regulator for mine online for 89.00 The cheapest I found. These parts are new. Easy to install, Just drill out the rivits and I used very short bolts to replace the rivits.

You can get regulators off Ebay for 40-60 bucks. Replacing them isn't that hard, just a little time consuming.
