Do any 99 and up model Grand Ams come with a manual tranny.

It first I didn't think so but then I saw one an 01 at a dealer. Maybe it was a special edition or something. When I run kelly blue book to get a rough estimate or prices it doesn't give me the option a a 5-speed.

the 4 banger has a 5 speed option, the V6 doesnt. and it can not be swaped into the V6 becuase the V6 has to much torque

The manual transmission is offered on 2000+ 4-cylinder models only (as well on 1998 and older). The only year a manual was not offered at all was in 1999. And no, there are no factory available V6 5-speeds in the N-Body.

Manual on the GA's was not an option, automatic was. And it cost like $1000 extra.

What ever happened to the Chevy Lumina 3.4L DOHC 5-spd. You'd think with that set-up it would have evolved into a modern era rig. I don't know the specs on that but I'd imagine they were fairly quick.
