I almost sh*t myself when I called the dealer today.
He said there are two types of spark plugs that the car could be using and would need the serial # off it.
For that price they can keep'em.

Pick up a set of NGK TR55IX Iridium plugs from Crappy Tire. They're $19.99/pair, much better than $15 each, and they're better plugs.

You bet, thats just what I did, thx.
What makes any spark plug worth $10 - $15 each? Come onnnn....I just don't buy it.

Long life as apposed to copper plugs. They last 4 - 5X as long as the copper equivalents. And with the PITA the back plugs are to change, the longevity is worth it, IMO.

Wal-Mart has the original AC Delco's (platinums) for $11 Canadian a pair. I've tried different "platinums" over the years and never noticed any signifigant increase in fuel economy or performance. The last plugs I had were Bosch II's and my car actually ran worse.......returned them after a month and got my money back. I'm going to stick with the Delco's.
