Hey,
The other day I was under my GA about to change out my fuel filter, when I realized this. My engine, headers, muffler, and all exhaust pipes were cool to the touch, yet my cat was still burning up. If everything else has enough time to cool, I wonder how hot that cat really gets. I've always felt like something was choking up the exhaust flow of this engine, but I was thought it was the s-shaped exhaust pipes or the muffler. I know this isnt normal, should I start looking into a higher flow cat?
