OK, well this is a picture of what my dad made from a PT Cruiser...all he did was take the back part off and turn it into a truck...he painted it and i think it looks really nice! He should patent it and show it to Chrysler...he coudl make millions :) also i liek the color (its a fusion orange color/bronze with black)
sry the pics are a bit blurry and he isnt done totally...

PT cruiser almost looks driveable as a truck
As a car, it makes me want to put my head between my legs and throw up everywehre

good work...
but it's still a PT Cruiser and spoilers don't belong on trucks :(

Not to bad looking. I would like the PT Cruiser alot more if it wasn't based apon the POS Neon plateform and drivetrain.
Chrysler had a prototype vehicle years ago call the GT Cruiser which was bascially what your father did. A PT front end with a short utility bed, except instead of the crappy FWD four banger combo IIRC it was a RWD V8.

Well I know alot of cars that do not need a spoiler either.
So since it's your opinion I'll leave it at that.

it sort of reminds me of an SSR looking how it does. Anyone get that feeling?

That's cute...your dad did a great job :)
It looks a little small to me. :D
As for th PT Cruiser being a POS, what do you base that on? Given what I have read and seen on TeeVee in tests, it's a pretty good car. Latest review I saw was of the GT version cabriolet. Very solid, more so than a number of other cars. Excellent handling and performance.
Is it a POS because of reliability? Well, I don't think any GA owners better be bragging about the reliability of thier car. GAs have a LOOONG list of problems. I have been on this board long enough to bear witness to that, not to mention ownwership of a GA that is far from the most reliable car I have owned.
I'm just curious. I kind of like the PT Cruiser. Biggest knock I can give it is the window switches in the middle of the dash.
