If you werent informed that it was indeed a rental car, you probably have some discourse in the matter. Complain to the dealership, complain to the regional GM management, etc. demand a refund.
this is of course assuming the car has problems or something and you hate it...

No offense, but buyer be ware. Just because it was a rental doesn't mean that its a bad car, especially if it was a fleet car. I work for one of the major car rental places and typically fleet cars are rented by businesses who get them for there employees, so they are probably better taken care of than regular rental cars.
Rental = so what? The price you paid may very well have reflected that fact. Did you research the price? Obviously you felt it was a fair price, otherwise you would not have paid it.
If it had been a brand new car, or a trade, lease return, re-possessed so what? If it didn't matter when you bought it, why does it matter now? Only because you think NOW you may have paid too much? TFB! You made the deal, you took the car, now you have to live with it. Nobody held a gun to your head.
Move on.

My baby was a rental too. I still love her as if she were my own.
I don't think you have a case unless the dealership lied to you, but that's just me.
If you don't have any reason to be dissatisfied, unbunch your knickers... and take her in as your own.
