Dang I just wounder how 16 year olds get such nice cars.

I bought my first car for $50.00 66 ranchero when I was 14. Then at 16 got a 69 galaxy 500. for $500.00 Finally at 18 saved enough to get a 71 monty carlo. $1700. Worked my butt off for those cars.

BTW car of the month is open for anyone, I guess you have good as chance as any.

i got a 99 grand am for my second car at 17, but i bought it and i had already had a crappy car first.

lol me to. my first car was an 89 GMC Jimmy that cost me 2500 bucks, the seatbelts didnt work, it had 250k miles on it, and it had been in a wreck and had a chevy grill on it. so basically i got an unreliable truck that had chevy grill, chevy doorhandles and everything else says GMC or Jimmy lol

but anyways back on topic...

very nice looking GA. I almost wish i would've gotten a black one but they're a little bit harder to keep clean :lol:

Clean ans simple. Very nice. I'm driving my 3rd car now. I started with a 97 Grand Prix SE, but the frame was bent so we took it back to dealer and got a 97 Grand Am SE, but my brother ended up getting it because we found my 96 Grand Am SE up there also. Now I'm wanting to sell it for something newer, maybe.

thats the way to go, out with the old in with the new, we had a white 92 SE, it was my moms, it had rims and a rear wing and a 3100 V6, so we traded it in for our 99 gt

i had an 89 chevy beretta gt , and i loved it to death, but after a heater core replacement, some work done to the steering, an oil leak and when the gas tank got a hole in it... it was time to move on up. but i still have the car and plan on restoring it someday when i have money. i love the rear wheel drive

anyways, enough with the story, i like your car, good luck keeping that black paint clean, and 99 GAs rock man :)

haha shyt when I was 16 I bought myself a 1989 pontiac grand prix for 1100.. I asked my parents to help me buy a car and they laughed harder than I've ever seen them laugh.. so now I bust my balls 70 hours a week to keep my GA in shape :) I love yours tho man, you can make it look good if you want! :)

aww, how did u wreck it?? and im maby gonna get a Grand Prix, this GA is starting to go bad, its got alot of miles on it, and its starting to wear out, my mom taking it 400 miles every weekend to wenachee is takin its toll, so a different car is hopfully on my agenda
