An 89 with a HO? Automatic transmission? Is that possible? I want to know if this would be worth looking at.

The problem is if you look at the link. The command for the smilely face is in the url. So as you can see there is the smilely face. LOL
Dang I wanted to look to.

If you take it and remove the smiley face and type = P without the space you can get to it

I've attached the ad as a PDF file for those that are having problems with that humungous link.
FWIW, the Quad4 H.O. was never paired with an automatic from the factory. Unless the guy swapped in an H.O., of course.

Thanks for the help. I like it, but I think I'll wait for a HO with a 5 speed.

HO has to be 5-speed. In addition, there was no "GT" in 89-91.
HO swap with an auto is a bad idea. Due to less low-end torque than the LD2, I would bet it's actually slower.
My guess:
1. swapped HO, but will suck with auto
-or more likely-
2. trying to pass off the car as something it doesn't have (HO)
3. swapped IDI cover for the one labelled "High Output" (prolly got with the head they replaced)

No matter waht it is by the picture it doesnt look to bad.
If the interior is just as nice I'd hand him a grand for it.
I'd love to deck out a sick lil 3rd generation GA.

And then rip that engine out and do a sick project like a 350 SB and make it RWD.
