My window sticker says my 02 GA GT has "solar rejecting glass", and one of my friend asked me if my glasses were tinted. I noticed our factory glass is a bit darker than others. Does anyone know what percent tint our factory glass has?

That's not a bad percentage.

That just means 70% of light going through the windows. My tint right now is 35%. Its dark enough for me.

I got the "meter test" done to me. 4%. :) I love it.

The funny thing is, another friend of mine has 5% tint on his ride. When he got in my car, he was like, "This is 5%!?" He also said he couldn't see jack out of his windows. I guess different brands are different when looking out. When I first got into my car after it being tinted, I thought he only did it at 20% b'c I could see out so good. Nope, it's 4%, LoL.

Yes brands are very different.
For example, A quality brand 5% may look dark outside looking in, but shouldn't be too ahrd to see from the inside looking out.
And then you have the opposite where more inexpensive stuff may look dark outside looking in, and may even be a bit dark looking out.

Where I got mine done. 5% was considered limo tint. Just about impossiable to see out of. I went with 15% which is really dark but I love it. No more sunburn on just my left arm driving home now. LOL

car glass actually blocks the light rays that cause sun burn aparently.. so you shouldn't have gotten a burn wiht the window up.. It's that UVA/UVB thing.. lol
