Ok i finally decided on something......

Ok after a long few months of thinking, I decided that it was time for a change. I have been thinking about changing cars for about 2 months or so now......I mean REALLY thinking. Well today I got out of work early and went down the street from work and looked at some cars, and well I traded in the Grand Am today. I now have a 2004 Dodge Magnum. I originally was looking at a Ram, but it caught my eye. I took it for a spin and I really liked it. So I called my Parents to come up and sign my GA over and now I have the Magnum in the driveway. It is awesome.....Black, leather, navigation, sunroof, all the options. Its great.

And the bad news is I am not gonna go to the GAOC meet anymore. With the new car and all I need to get more stuff in order and I just wont have the time for much anymore.

Kelly its a car not a truck. Although Dodge has no clue to what they are doing because they are confudsing everyone with their models and names. The SXT is a striped down Dakota but on a car the SXT is the better package. They used the term 'Hemi Magnum' to discribe the same motor but in the past (read muscle car era) the Magnum and Hemi were two different engines. Now in addition to the term Magnum being miss used inconjunction with the term 'Hemi' they also confuse people further more by calling their new wagon a Magnum. What are they thinking? :lol:

Anyhow the Magnum is one b!tching ride IMO.

The SE is powered by a 200hp 2.7 liter V6.
The SXT has a 250hp 3.5 V6
And the RT (shown above) is powered by a 5.7 liter 'Hemi' pumping out 340hp and 390 ft/lbs of torque.
And best part, it's RWD!

Funny thing is, on Saturday on my way to the fish store so my daughter get some new fishes I stopped at my little local Dodge dealer and looked at a new Maganum. One bad ass car. I would have test drove it but it was only the V6 (250hp). Once they get the Hemi powered one in I'll take it for a spin. And even after replacing the fuel injector today our GA still runs like poop. A bit better but not 100%. Next, new coil packs. And if it doesn't start behaving, I hate to say it but it might just be the beater until we can afford a second year G6 (I stay away from first year produced vehicle due to all the bugs they need to find and fix still). Who knows, maybe something different, but right now I'm getting very aggrivated. Espeically since my wife has been driving my truck 45 miles a day to and from work and I hardly get to see it anymore.
