Has anyone put a Dynomax muffler on their GA. I've noticed that the distance to where the muffler connects to the straight pipe to the engine and the rear of the car isn't very far, so I was just wondering what you all put on for aftermarket mufflers......thanks

I have Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers on my car and love em but my setup is different then the 99+ GAs unless you want to custom make some piping to have dual mufflers

Agreed, if you want to keep your subject on the top of the list every once in a while just post to the same thread you created. :)
I have the Borla Cat-back and it sounds GOOOOOOD! But the Dynomax muffler with custom 2.25 "dual" exhaust would give the same performance for less money probably. I just had the extra money at tax time last year:)
I have a dynomax super turbo on as well. I love the tone of it, it's a lot cheaper than flowmaster or borla, etc. Same tone though.

I have a Naxos muffler on my car. It is very loud and gives a really good performance increace, but they are expensive since it is a polished stainless steel, seamless and straight through. I would reccomend this for anyone who wants performance and something that will last practically forever. Here's a site that sells them cheap http://www.car-parts-accessory.com/Mufllers.asp (I have the second one down on the right). Here's a good site for exhaust clips http://www.exhaustsoundclips.com/gm.html

I have SLP and it is the closest sound to a 305 V-8. I heard all the different brands before I made my selection and SLP was the best overall. I love it. It sounds like my 85' TA with the 305 V-8 and Flowmaster exhaust. My TA is a little louder (quicker) and whatnot both inside and outside the car. If you wanted to try and find the closest thing to a v-8 sound go with SLP.
2.5" pipe
no resonator
Straight through muffler
quad tips
great sound
great price
no welding straight bolt up.
