Body Kit for SE1

I was just wonding if anyone had any pics of a GA SE1 with a body kit? I am thinking about getting a body kit but I dunno about the molding. I just want to make sure it looks good before I go out and buy a kit and come to find out that with the molding it looks like hell. Please someone post pics or a link so I can see what they look like.
Also I had come across a website that had an exhaust system for the Ecotec, it was the full system and when it got to the exhaust it came out into duals. Anyway I lost the site and cant find it, does anyone know a site where I can get a good sounding exhaust that has a dual set up. It looks like this but it is for the 2.2. Thanks

My car started out as an SE as well. Check my N-Body registry...

...but as a more general answer. GT and SE's had interchangeable body parts. So any kit for the 99+ GA's will fit.

yeah, all body kits you see out there for the grand am will fit the SE, SE1, GT , GT1 etc.

The only things to keep in mind is that all 99+ grand am parts are interchangable. The main thing is just to keep in mind the 2 door and 4 door.


and that exhaust.. i dont remember borla making an exahust like that for the ecotech but I am sure they can. Just MAKE sure it will fit the eco by calling them.

Not ALL parts are interchangeable and not ALL kits fit both SEs and GTs. The SC/T kit, for example, only fits GTs.

well yeah, not the SCT but that is more of a lip kit.. I mean, something like that would be pretty obvious..no?

Oh, and i mean body parts.. hoods, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, etc.. those are.. its the engine, suspension, etc. that are not.

i think there is a girl on here who had put the AED kit on her car and left the SE moldings on.

IMO, the molding does not look right with any kit. Blech...

Alot of people dont even like the strip that removing the ribbing leaves, I actually like it. :)

Well how do you take it off? And does it leave any holes or marks?

It just comes off with some goo gone, a little tugging, and a lot pf rubbing for the black sticky tape. After their off, the only hole your left with is in the pic. Some people say cover it up before it starts rusting but it doesn't look like it'll rust to me. The paint kinda wrapes onto the inside. I'd had the hole there for a while now and it don't bother me. I'll probably get it coverd up with I put my wing and (hopefully) hood on. :)

I just went to www.customgrandam.com and bought a little pontiac arrow head decal. (the same color as my car) and put it over it.. you can even tell its there.

Hes got the AED kit you can tell by looking at it. With the SD hood -drools at sd hood-

well the kit is from www.aedcentral.com which is about 1500 or so for the full kit.. wing and all.

shipping is about 180 depending on where you live..

the hood.. well that was about 4 months ago or even more.. dont remember but that is the SD hood from www.pfyc.com i crashed the car.. and its pretty much the same as my avatar except for the hood. :(

Personally, when I finally get my kit made, Im gonna keep all that ribbing. Like many of us have mentioned before, its " ribbed for her pleasure " :D. I shoudl really stop by FX designs and talk to that guy again. I pretty much know how I want the kit to flow and Yes, it will be the Cobra R front facia and not the Saleen front facia. As for the rear facia, im deeply loving that GTO Drift car rear facia and how it flows with the car, it gives it a kinda rally look to it. Damn I cant wait to actually get this kit made up.
