Hi everyone,
My wife scrapped my beauty GrandAm ´92, 5 speed tranny, 2.3L Quad 4 H.O. (simply put it - no oil-no fun) and I am looking for the same engine in good condition or a substitude.
Please advice? Would you know whether V6 auto might fit with not much harsh work ?
Please let me know, very appreciated

Well, your lucky sir. lol
I would say drop a 3400 in there, with the 5-speed and get a custom tune. Only problem I see with a custom tune, is that your across seas and my guy that does them is here.

I would advise otherwise and say stick with a Quad 4. Swap to V6 will be a project and then some. (wiring harness, new gauge cluster, might have to weld new mounts, etc)
There's plenty of Quad 4's around, and they offer equal performance potential. If I were in your shoes, I would look at putting in the W41 Quad 4, 190HP stock. It would be a direct swap. I believe Mantapart still have some brand new ones. (0 miles)

Quad 4 iv is Faster than a V6, and gets batter gas milege, so keep ur Quad 4, there faster, 190 hp and a V6 is 175, worse gas m.
