Well, tomorrow I'm about to work on my car for the first time, I'm replacing a vandalized tail light. Anything I should be careful of? As I understand it I just peel back the carpet, unscrew the 4 wing nuts, slide it out gently, unhook the electrical and reverse the procedure. Correct? I'm pretty much a newbie here so any help is appreciated!
I know that all of the bulbs in my old tail light work, not sure about this used one I bought. Forgive my stupidity, but how do I go about changing them if they don't work?
Thanks!

... that is pretty much it but just becareful when you pull it out and are disconnecting/conneting the bulbs that you don't scratch your bumper cover ... it would be best to place a rag on the cover and lay the tail light on it to lessen the chance of scratches :) ... good luck!

You'll need to swap the bulbs between assemblies too :)

Ya, and make sure the ones with dual filaments are for brake lights.

Actually this was a used one, it came with the full set of bulbs, all in working condition! So that was easy, I'm saving my old bulbs for replacements.
