Need Some Help

More than likely, this has been talked about in other threads, but I couldnt find exactly what I was looking for. I would like to know if anybody could help me out locate the supposed hole through the firewall on my 96 grand am. I am having no luck finding this and do not have the correct tools and knowledge to go through it myself. Pictures would be greatly appreciated, but I'll take a good description as well. Also, it is going to be a 4 gauge wire going through the firewall if that makes any kind of difference. Thanks

You can probably find an opening under the dash on the drivers side (possibly next to the steering column). I have an '04 so I can't tell you exactly, sorry. Also, make sure that you DEFINATELY USE an inline fuse within 12-18 in. of the battery (just in case you've never done it before). This will help keep your car from catching on fire.
