We just don't need 2 cars and an SUV. I'd rather have the $$ and save on insurance costs. Rates in California are really high.

We decided against the 5 series Beemer because we don't need 2 cars. We scrapped the thoughts of getting the ML 320 because the reviews are aweful. A Mercedes made in Alabama. Would you buy it? I didn't think so.

I sell it to a fellow GA owner from this site for $4,000. Otherwise I'll put it on the street for $6,000 and take no less than $5,000.

ive been to the mercedes plant in alabam, its spotless, ver porffesinal assembly.... quality of a car is in design flaws, not where its made, you can have a monkey push buttons to run an assembly line......of course, i hate this state too though so..

Congrats on the new vehicle. To bad your getting rid of that sweet Grand Am for a not so sweet SUV. As long as you like it thats great, I just personally dislike the Xterras and think your car is far superior.

Congrats Don, glad to see you picked up what you wanted. Yea, I was telling Sik you were planning to go European.
I was looking at and SUV too one of these days. And yea, I hear that about insurance, it is high.

Congrats on the purchase, Don. I took an '01 for a test drive a few years back, it wasn't bad at all. :thumbup2:
