Well I thought this would be an interesting topic to discuss. I want to hear what your largest insurance drop ( or increase if you really want ) was for your car in 1 year. As a little boy from the cold white north where insurance prices are friggin through the roof. In only 1 year, my insurance dropped 1500$ Cdn. I had no accidents and only a very minor ticket during that year and nothing else on my record before that. Last year was my first year in driving my car as a full time driver. My insurance dropped from 6500$ to 5000$. That was my story, now I want to hear yours.

Until my teenaged daughter got on my insurance, I was paying 800 ( US ) a year for full coverage with low deductibles on a 99 GA SE. I understand PA to be one of the top 5 states as far as high insurance goes. Lucky me. LOL.

What, 6500$ for a 99!!!
When I bought my 94 two years ago, I would have pay 2100$ for full coverage on a 99. At the time I was 18.
So I got my 94 and paid about 750$ for liability only.
Now insurance is 420$ for same thing.

Omfg.. but are you an occasional driver lamonpat? So it looks like 92CamaroRS has the largest drop of more than half in one year. But im curious.. does anyone else still think im getting screwed over for insurance? Lol, because it sure as hell feels like it hearing what you guys pay. My god, I knew it was bad, but not THIS bad.

I'm sorry to say that, but no, I'm the first driver on my car.

Just for fun, I called to my insurance company today and for full insurance on a brand new 2004 Grand Am GT SC/T coupe, that would cost me about 3050$ a year.
