wai + hood

i was just wonering if a SD hood (or any hood that brings air into the engine) and a WAI would be similar to a CAI.

Well whenever you have a hood that is functional it is considered Ram Air,not CAI,its just the "classic muscle car" term of bringing air into the engine bay.But yes it most likely is equal to a CAI,air coming into the engine bay is greatly cooler then the air under the hood.But to make it fully work the best the air filter has to be close to those scoops to fully utilize it but it should still help a good amount to get cooler air into the engine:)

best to get a hood the forces the air to where the filter is. so sort of under hood duct work. the shield off the filter for the heat off the motor. but carefull of rain watter getting to the filter too.
