Ok, a story I have from today... I was at Target today, and when I was parking some lady left her cart in the middle of the parking spot next to her. I was parking in the spot next to that. Then, the cart starting blowing toward two cars parked across from me. The lady looked over at me and gave a 'I hope that cart doesn't hit someone's car' look, and pulled out in her minivan :jenny: I admit that I juvenilialy flicked her off and she honked back at me, but I was pissed. Then, before I got over to the cart, it was in the middle of the next lane over, just begging to be hit, so I grabbed it and put it in the rack.
I hate how some people just don't have respect for other's cars... :chair: walk a short 5 yards and put the cart where it goes!!
Does anyone else feel this way or am I just obsessed?

I usually kick the front wheels up onto a curb so it doesn't roll. I work for a drug store so I ALWAYS have to go out and collect carts. I just figure when I leave one somewhere at another store, it's payback.
Like I said tho, I wouldn't leave it somewhere where it might cause damage.

lol i sorta felt kind of guilty the one time, i was out in front of the mall and this day was super windy, like really super windy, and so there's this one cart and i grabbed it before it went out flying into the parking lot, so i put it behind this big pillar figuring its not gonna move, but sure enough the dumb thing starts flying with the wind going crazy fast and nails the side of a car .. i felt kinda bad, i was like "please be a saturn please be a saturn" heh but ya i guess next time i'll put it somewhere a lil safer, and the guy was in his car at the time and he didn't seem too pissed so it was okay

They need to hire cart monitors, writing 100 doller tickets to mindless nimrods that leave carts in the parking lot. I take a cart back in the store with me that someone else has left in the parking lot just about every time I go to walmart. There is always going to be one right in the middle of the road. Click it or ticket. LOL

One time at Wal-Mart some no-good soccer mom pushed her cart away from her minivan and it started flying through the parking lot towards my car that was parked maybe 10 spots away. My sister-in-law was quick enough to catch it in time (THANKS!) but I proceded to take the cart back where it came from... Stuck it right behind the twit's minivan. What do you know, she backed up right into it :)
That felt soooooooo good :D
The thing I really like is at some stores up here you have to put a dollar in a box on the handle of your cart to be able to get it out of the cart racks. You only get your dollar back when you park the cart back at the right place. I think all shopping malls should have that.

All you have to do is get out of you car and move it out of the day. People are so lazy these days. Just return the cart or do not take one at all.

Isn't that a little extreme? If some "Wal-Mart Cart Monitor" gave me a $100 ticket, I'd probably shove it up his ass and then kick it in real good.

I've seen that done w/ quarters but never dollar bills. It's easy to understand the concept with coins but how do they do it with paper money?

The headlight covers in my avatar were broke by a shopping cart at sams club. Well, one was along with my directional light.

Inconsiderate people PISS ME OFF!
I either put the cart in the return area, do the front wheel curb prop, or have actually walked the cart all the way back to the store...
I'm NOT kidding people.. I have actually walked the whole 100 feet back to the store.. I mean sure it was 100 degree Florida heat... and I didn't even have any virgin pure bottled water from the French Alps .. but I perservered... It was a grueling test of endurance and fortitude, but I did it!
I say screw the 100 dollar fine...
Let's start Public Canings!

Yes, people are too lazy and stupid, I always take the cart back to the front of the store if there is no cart return place, or I take it to the cart return holder.
About a month ago my car was hit by another car in the parking lot and scrunched the hood up a little and scratched the bumper, and I just finished replacing the front bumper. Idiots around here!

I hate carts! My girlfriend has a '96 Cavalier, that was in perfect shape... Then last Friday, she was parked in a good spot, where she though away from any danger! Good 45mph Kansas wind blew a cart right into her fender. It put a grapefruit size dent in it. I popped it out, you can still tell, just not as bad!

Our 2000 BMW just got nailed by a cart last week - square across two doors, deep horizontal dent. Probably near a grand to fix due the the depth of the dent. Goes with the fender scuff (also in a parking lot) from about a month ago.
I give up. People must not care anymore. Time to install nerf bars all the way around and electrify the chassis!
