New system setup

Got a Pioneer 9600 Head Unit coming along with a set of Alpine SPR 136A Type R 5.25" Components powered by an Alpine MRV-T320 400 W max 2 channel amp with s 300W MTX 10's powered by a Sony amp.. Possibly changing Sub setup to all Alpine shortly...

well im not a pioneer fan, but i hear those are pretty nice headunits. :) the components are a pretty good speaker, that's what im running in my fiance's car and im happy with them. the mtx subs aren't that bad, but i've known of bad things with MTX, but hopefully you'll have better luck. and the sony amp.......i'd get rid of that thing ASAP.

as for changing to all alpine...as long as you're not building it to be a SPL comp vehicle the type r subs will hold up. i know a guy that was running 4 R 12s in a blazer, and it sounded good, but he blew i dont remember how many of those subs. but in all fairness to alpine he was running a little too much power to them and kept them cranked all the time. so if you dont abuse them you should be good to go :)
