I wonder whether cone filter allows more air for intake than a regular GM Ram system, whether there is larger filter-paper area or what it is that makes up 10 hp?
What would you recom. for H.0.Quad4 GM 92 ?
Thanks !

Conical filters usually offer more surface area than a traditional square or rectangular filter.
But... It's not so much the filter that makes the difference, but the tubing diameter and routing itself. (and the tubing is rather small and lots of curves on the 92 Quad 4 intake)
Since nobody makes an intake "kit" for the 92-95 Quad 4's you are kinda on your own for piping... although several "warm air" style intakes meant for the 96+ 2.4 engine will fit. (such as the iceman intake, etc)
I'm in the process of fabricating the piping to the fenderwall on my car... still waiting on order for more 3" U-bends.
