Ok, well since this is an aftermarket part, I thought it owuld be wise to post it here. Well just yesterday I re-installed my jet speed module. I followed everything properly but once agian, the stupid module doesnt light up and I know the LED's work and such. The problem I have no is that when I started my car today, I noticed 2 things. 1, my SES light went on. Basically I just connected the power wire directly to the postive post on the main fuse box under the hood, thinking that may have been my problem before. 2, My shifts are hard. Like when going from reverse to drive, it really shifts hard. As well, all shifts, except under WOT are much harder than before. What I mean by harder is that, its not smooth, its more, well, harsh. I dont what could be causing the harder shifts, and unfortunatly I dont have anyone who has a code reader untill I take it to the shop next week.

Maybe Old Guy can chime in here about JET modules , but my advice is to take it off and smash it .

ummm....what i did was connect the power wire directly to the battery and put an in line fuse. try that and if it doesnt work then you might have something messed up on your TPS or MAP sensor connections.

Well thankfully. No more issues. I started checking all my connections, pushing that little extra hard to on all the points I had disconnected. Anyways. My SES light is still on, but thats probably because the computer hasnt gotten used to it. Basically, the hard shifts are now gone and now my rpms are lower by roughly 300 rpms. ( which is good because a sure sign that my egr valve is not working is my rpms go up about 300). Anyways, everythign is good now, and my SES light is sure to turn off shortly. I also disconnected the battery for about 10 minutes as well as I found that the dial on teh JET module had come lose and that it was turned way more than it should have been. Maybe that was my problem in the first place. Basically the little turn dial on the JET module has two positions, on and of. Well mine way way past the on position. The module still doenst work, but thats still ok.
