... the reason for the 'down time'?!? Well, let me just say our previous host likes to shut sites off without good reason ... needless to say, we're with someone else now :)

I had to take up drugs for a few days to get over my withdrawals. It's good to see the site back up and kicking.

My god, see what happens when this site goes down for a couple of days? Oh sure! me and my big mouth! WEel thanks to the site being down, I got all into a huge heated argument on the qualities of my grand am on a mostly import site from my local area. Guess how that went? Those import loving hippies now have to be proven wrong. That means this friday night I gotta go to the track, and first beat a 1991 acura integra gs 130 hp ( ha.. thats a joke car) AND, heres the big one, ding a time of 15.9 s WITHOUT my stereo so that I can prove that my car can easily beat any year Acura Integra GS-R ( 15.7 s sea level). Now you think. 15.9? not a problem, but that is 2200 ft ASL and my previous best time with stereo and jack in, is a 16.194. So, shave 200 lbs and have to shave at least .2 seconds off my time? Its gonna be tough, but im definatly up for it :) But see what this withdrawl makes me do! my car has got to be in good for this friday.
Run on almost empty. Pump up the air in the rear tires, don't add air to the fronts as you need the grip. Take out the spare & jack. Empty the glove box & console (any extra weight is dead weight). Removing amps & subs like you're saying is good.
Good luck.

... and don't forget to turn off the ETS like I did in Albany (I still can't believe that I forgot to do that :( :D) ... also, pull the tranny back into second and manually shift into thrid if you need to :) ... be safe!!!!

LMFAO! hehe anything to reduce weight. Dont worry Kelly, I did the exact same thing at the track when I first went. I just couldnt understand why the hell I couldnt spin my tires very much in the staging water area. hehe stupid me forgot the ets for the first two runs. And I always launch in second at the track and shift into third. I find its the best route to go for our SE's.
