How much do you think a security system would take down your insurance? I pay like $135 a month for insurance, even dropping $5 a month would make me happy! I'll try to look into that system and tell ya what I see about it, when I get time.

You should ask YOUR insurance company that. Some will lower it a lot, other not at all.

135 bucks???!!??!?? Damn I would be so happy if it was 135 bucks. I was paying 180 but now it went up to 219... I'm not happy........ Need to shop around but i've been with the same company for 4-5 years........

The passive alarm that is in my 2003 ga ( every 99-04 ga has it i think) saves me 48 bucks every 6 months

P.S I thought when u turn 25 it goes down.... near 26 now and it went up :(

Well you guys do have a more powerful car than me. I guess, the price of the car alarm would pay for itself over time from the savings in car insurance, so its not such a bad investment.

Just the problem for me would be instalation, I'm not that bright with electronic stuff.

You would DEFINITLY not want to try and install a security system into your car unless you know EXACTLY what you're doing... If you mess up the elecitrical system, you are soooo screwed...

Well I'd get my friend to help me... He works at Circuit City and he isn't one of those guys who does a half ass job. And he knows alot about car electronics. I haven't touched much on my car by myself. Because I know nothing about cars, I just like to learn new things from my friends and you guys! THX
