exhaust?

I have a 2000 GA with a 2.4L twin cam and i was talking to my freind who is a manager of tuffy which is a mechanic shop. one of his guys told me i should go with out a muffler to make it look better. i was wondering if anyone as done this and how loud it would be.

I think he might be joking with you. Your car would be exceptionally loud w/o a muffler and sound like a very big ricer.

i guess they have done the same thing to like 3 other cars and everyone how had it done was happy with the result

mufflers dont do squat for emisions. all a muffler does is quite it down. it wouldnt be too loud but it would be much louder than a facotry muffler. and IMO it would sound like Poo. about the only things that sound good with no mufflers are SBC's and BBC's and Diesels. everything else needs a muffler imo or atleast a glasspack.

ok cool. well i guess i will see what it sounds like because i have to put my new bumper put on before they can place my exhaust anyways.
