I just want to say Thanks to RSM Racing for the great deal they gave us on the front strut tower braces at Albany!!
My SE was a little loose in the front and the STB certainly helped. I don't notice a huge difference in cornering, but it definately handles bumps much better...........and it doesn't look too bad under there either!!
I gotta get the rear one now!!

Looks great Tom :) ... with the deal they were offering, if they brought 50 of them, they probably would have all sold!!

how did you get that engine that clean???

I put a new one in every two weeks :kidding:
Actually, I keep after it. I use STP degreaser at each oil change and I use an engine detailer on it.
It's a result of having an OCD.... :)

Can you elaborate a little? I've been debating this mod for a while now. How does it handle bumps better? Like when the Old Man and Old Woman are Old Schooling in the Back seat? ;)

btw tom thanks for the help installin mine, makes it easier once you do it once. BTW I on the other hand noticed a huge differance than stock, like when cornering and changing in and out of ny traffic its like night and day. Def worth the money. J

Yeah, Tom, tell us more about the difference you notice with the STB's. I'm thinking about them, as well.
I too would consider a group buy.

I only have the front brace, but I noticed a little difference in cornering. The front end doesn't dip as much as it did. The biggest difference was in the way it handles uneven bumps, especially railroad tracks. It just seems tighter than it was. I imagine I'll notice a bigger difference when I get the rear brace. on.

Hey Tom, your CAI, where did you get it? I notice its the 2 piece design unlike my 3 piece. Does it stay in place really good? Ive noticed on my 3 piece it slips a bit between the MAF and TB, becasue the pipe wasnt cut as it should have been. How much whistle do you get?

I made it. It's made from a Honda Accord intake. One of these days I'll get a "How-To" up on it, but it's pretty easy. It's a little tougher to get in, but once it is it's very snug and doesn't move at all.
Mine whistles alot at the shifts, but what I really notice is how loud it is when it idles. You can really hear the air being drawn into it.

Am I the only one with Speedbuilt Braces from PFYC? I finally got them in today, slapped them on, and had fun :). I love the stiffness it gave my suspension, and the cornering.... :) damn, definately worth the $200.
