Today was a very cold day again in wisconsin. Heh.. Anyways i started up my car and let it warm up for about 10 minutes or so and lately i've been checkin my oil and today when i checked it ...its seepin through the valve cover gasket i put in about 2 months ago. So when it gets warm again i will replace it with one of a higher grade. Anyways the point is, even if my car is leakin a lil oil and had a miss from the cold it still kicks butt. The engine is almost at 97,000 and still has not failed me one time and this car has had some rough times.

let me school you on how to beat on a car. mine has been through it all and has the scars to prove it. dented floor boards, deystroyed paint job, dented gastank, and a couple cv shafts on each side. all from reckless abuse. long live your teen years as mine are now officially over. The valve cover gasketsare not a problem if you get a steel cor erubber one, and torque it down right. the only problem is the damn egr is in the way. good luck with it. 224,000 and rolling, stopping ocasionally too when i want to.

147k Miles on mine, and has been very tough. I love mine, and this one has not been baby'd either! I'd say I driver her hard, and she always says "bring it on"! A very hardy engine indeed!:agree:
I have had to replace the alternator and the oil lifters in mine but it is still running like a top:thewave:
