I'd like to replace my reverse light bulbs wit bulbs that flash. I saw a local car around here with them and I asked him about the bulbs. He said their just a pair of $10 bulbs that you can get at the local Auto Zone. I went there for them and they had no clue what I was talking about.
Anyway, what I'm getting at is a couple things.
1. Are they just replacement bulbs? Do I have to do any other modding to get them to blink and flash?
2. Where can I get them?
Thanks!

what you want are a set of strobes that are a seperate bulb all together, they don't have anything to do with your reverse lights, they're just strobes go look in the ricer aisle, you know the one that has all the big wings and such, they should be somewhere around all the neons in that area

I have strobes they are alright for sitting in parking lots. yeah it may be ricey and all but whatever you like. My strobes are in my headlights and front grill. I have the blackout headlight covers so they have no clue until they start strobing. If you want so good strobes go to www.thezeb.com they are the streetglow gold strobes. You can put these right into the reverse lights with the regular bulb in there also.

yeah except those strobes at the autozones are pure shit. Its what all the ricers have that blink strange and when they get water in them they stop working.
At the very least get some of the streetglow headlight strobes they are twice as bright and wont disappoint you. At the very most get the actual police strobes woohoo.

^yeah, dont go to autozone. they have the little bulbs that you put a colored condom on. These are actually one color and the bulb is the color of the flash. For $30 dollars a pair, the streetglow are the best, unless you can actually find real police strobes.

There was actually someone on here that was an EMT or something. They had the siren noise with a bunch of strobes in their GA.

Direct from the source www.galls.com
I am an EMT and have toyed with a bunch of lights in my car at different times. Pretty much anything you can get from an auto parts store is going to be poor quality (some poorer then others). Even the StreetGlow strobe are prone to random flashes and short life-expectancy. Look on Ebay for Whelen, Galls and Federal Signal these are the big-dogs in the professional lighting world.
