System question...

K I am building my new system....The contents of my system are in my signature below... My basic question is...How much of a necessity would updating the factory 6x9's and factory amp to say a new pair of Alpine SPR-694A Type R 2 way 120 W peak and 50 RMS??? I have a pair of subs for the bass so thats not a concern of mine.. Basically I am wondering if I install everything would the factory 6x9's and amp make my system sound bad...

My stock speakers sound fine and i am pushing 142.4DBs

ok thats what I want to hear..... I dont want to buy a set of 6x9's at this point... Does anyone know the wattage on the stock 6x9's and also the wattage on the factory amp? Just my curiosity here...

it wouldn't hurt to keep them in there, but i'd be great to upgrade to the alpines, you wouldn't notice much of a change in bass except for the really high end, it also sounds good to have some highs coming from the back too

yeah I will eventually upgrade to those alpines... but for the moment..I might just leave them in there...

yeah, thats cool, i went forever in my ga with a system with the stock rear speakers, but it totally changed the sound when i upgraded

i didnt replace my stock 6x9s until recently when i got a hookup on some nice ones

wont make a whole lot of difference but upgrading them will definitely be a good thing.....mids are important in making music sounding good to fantastic
