Welp, I stumbled around some extra cash and I've always wanted my system to be very nice considering where I come from and my social status. I would say I'm doing very nice so far, but I'm yearning for more.

Went up to Circuit City (CC) today just to look around, because my friend works up there. Was looking at all the amps and he knows what I have, because he sold me everything I have except my sub. Anyway he suggested this one amp the

So I'm sittin there looking at it, its on clearance for $279. Im like ehh thats a lil high for what I was looking to spend. Well it just happens that he had a talk with the manager while I was there and I acted like I didnt hear him and he said that He would drop it down to $200 but I have to purchase the extended warranty.

Now this story seems long, but I really think this will be nice. It will give me nice power to my 6.5's and 6x9's. My friend said that I can hook them all up nicly with the power this supplies. I am going to see what I like the most. Turning it into a 2 channel amp for just the 6x9's or all 4 channels til I can afford a regular 2 channel amp.
This is what I have now...

Think I will like it as a 4 channel amp? Thx for your advise and suggestions in advance!

well i think brigding it for your 6x9s would be a bad idea.....over 250 watts to a 6x9s is just asking for trouble. i'd go ahead and hook it up to all 4 speakers. i dont think the price is that bad of a price. and the extended warranty is just icing on the cake :)

Im not to bright on all the power and such, but I have a clue... Don't I have a 12VDC connection? So wouldnt that be 180Wx2? I mean I have no idea, but thats what I thought.

Tomorrow when I get it, I'm also running over to Walmart and gettin a pair of RCA's so I can instal the RCA's into the front also. This thing was nice, it had an output on the amp where I could hook up my sub amp to...

Your car will run a 12.5 at idle or when the key is off for a little while. When your car is revved up to cruising speed, your electrical system is running at a 14.4. MTX are great amps and they put out more than they are rated. If you get the amp you will be suprised that the birthsheet on your amp is going to say it puts out 20-60 more watts more with that amp. Now if you were to get a bigger amp, the birthsheet can state that it puts out up to 120 watts more than its rated. Cant go wrong with MTX amps

well, if your charging system is like it should be it will running closer to 13.8 at idle and around 14.4 at speed

Well, purchased the amp this morning, then had my girlfriends nieces bday to attend, then I had work. So I couldnt really get around to drooling over the amp.

Altogether with the amp and the 4 year warranty on it, it was $302. Not to bad. Now I have deceisions! aka i cant spell... anyway I'm thinking about mounting them amps I have on the sides of my trunk. I think that would look nice, or... to just lay the mdf down on the trunk floor and measure it out some so that it'll fit and in it, I'll cut out a place for each of the amp's and a section for the MOMO... I love that thing since it takes such little space, have an amp on each side of it... Im thinking that this amp will satisfy my music needs for a long time while running it in 4 channel mode.

Believe it or not... after a little bit of help, I've come to the thought that I can instal this amp on my own. Sounds crazy, but I'm going to shoot for it. Now the wiring of the speakers and such is not my territory, nothing good with blown speakers!

On another note... my checking debit card is being gay and wont let me register for ebay! Looks like no little fun things for me for a lil bit.
