I just went to have my system installed and when they were charging the cap..they ran into a problem... It would charge to 12v but then it would quickly lose its charge... Is that a sign of a bad cap or some other problem... they told me that most likely it was a bad cap... It just wouldnt keep a charge...

the problem is the cap....drop the pyramid and go with lightning audio or something else....pyramid is no good at anything anymore

A buddy of mine has a pyramid cap and he said it works fine so thats the reaon I went with it...

yep, bad cap and i use Stinger products......my cap is about 5 years old now and it still works fine :)

yeah, i'd go with lightning or rockford, its the same cap, the stinger stuff is good too
