Has anyone ever tried one of these? Someone told me that they help greatly with acceleration, but others have told me they are crap. Also, some websites say they are for any GM vehicle, some say they are only for rear-wheel drive vehicles. Is anyone using one now, or has anyone ever used one? Thanks.

Sorry, wont work for the 99+ The 4T45E(40E) is electronically controlled, as apposed to the Pre 99's with the 4T60E's that were electronic and vacuum controlled.
