That was a lot of fun yesterday. I wish Summit would have offered us something to entice us to buy something. I think they could have been more friendly to us as well.

Yeah I got roasted as well. Especially my legs and neck! I want to know how Mike's head is doing! He was bright red at 2pm and was still there at 4pm when I left.

sorry to say it, but that meet looked kind of weak. ive done bettrer burn outs in my stock g.a. than that gtp but now that i have $100 tires (a peice), they stick better, and , ouch, that would be to much to burn.

lets do a fun meet some time closer. who likes to camp. i know a sweet spot.

Not saying it can't be done just curious. I know those 3800 Series II SCs will smoke the hides without a problem. :)

Hey maybe your meet will look better, but that doesn't mean they didn't have fun. We had 4 cars one year in the rain and we had a blast. My second year hosting a meet with had almost 30 cars, this past year we had over 60.

No matter how many people are there if it's 'weak' or not it's about enthuisasts sharing a common interests and meeting new people. You do all you can to get people to come, and sure you might have 100 people say they will come, but it's a good rule of thumb that 20-30% of them will back out and never show up.

With that said, I might question the GTP as being the fastest fwd car in Reno (just becuase it wasn't stated how fast it was), but I would love to see photos of you doing a better burn out.
BTW, I don't see whats so special about your tires being $100 each.

TA....if I remember right, Dave said he estimates the car puts out about 450HP. He was using NOS of course. He runs about a mid 11, but gotta remember he is at 4450ft when he runs. If I also remember right, he is running more boost, toughened up the engine to handle more HP, and modified the front end. I do not think he power braked it. Also, when he came around the corner, his tires were still burning. To bad you could not see it in person, that car was awesome!

Madman, we had a meet last year in Sacramento that drew 14 cars. Our first meet had 3. So yes, the next one could have more people, especially if we have it somewhere in the Bay or nearby. The meet was not weak at all. We had a lot of fun. Everybody that went has known each other for awhile, and we do not get to see each other very often. So how come you did not go?

And yes, I would like to see pics of you doing a better burn out. And $100 tires do not impress me.

Thanks for the details on that GTP. Chad (Y2KGPGT) just purchased a Supercharged Monte Carol and we plan on having it in the 13s soon (hopefully mid 13s). I think what he really wants is a 12 second daily driver (without N2O). And like that GTP it'll be a sleeper, he keeps telling me he even wants to remove the 'Supercharged' badges. Fairly stock appearing on the outside but packs a hell of a punch. :D

I made it back in 2 hours 45 minutes that day...smoked the hell out of LiL and some black SE with red vinyl and a huge aluminum spoiler. What can I say...4 cyl. suck going up the mountain!!! LoL, J/K.

Had a great time seeing everyone again and meeting all the new guys. Unfortunately my car is MIA again 'cause of the LIM gasket leak but hopefully by the next meet I'll have a practically brand new car to show you all.

I'll get pics up later when I get time...got a bunch of stuff to catch up with now that I'm back from vaca.

Nice pics. And like TA said meets will get bigger every year. All that matters is that everyone had fun. Is the GTP owner a friend of yours or just somebody that showed up? I would like to ask him a few things about his car. As far as the tire price things goes, I don't care on the price of the tire. But $100 for a tire is cheap, the cheapest I can get a tire for my car is $130 each. Thats for the a sh!t tire, so price don't mean jack.

His sn on clubgp is DaveGTP I think.

And yea, it is a total sleeper. I would never expect a GTP looking like that to blow people away. Forgot to add that he has an exhaust setup, and on race days, he runs with a different pulley setup and tires.

And Sik, you were wearing pants, long sleeve shirt, and a hat! You did not have enough skin exposed to get sunburnt! :lol:

Well we had a terrific time, just a nice as the first meet in Tiburon with 4 cars.

That GTP was sweet, but no way I would put NOS in my car. I want my car to run 12s without it.

I got burned pretty good, I wonder what my excuse is... maybe Sik knows.... or maybe I'll ask Sik's mom!!!

Madman, you and I need to meet up sometime. I live right down the street pratically from you. Let's hook up sometime.

As for the $100 tires, I pay more than that for mine and they are okay tires, not the best though.

It hurt to take a shower that night when the water hit my head it hurt like hellllllll!. Who was say that burn out was week . You got to see the people at the track we race at and how bad he spanks . I don't think the sticker was red... it looked pink to me, and with that wing, it would complete the gheyness... I tried to keep up... just wait till i get that sc... I will be able to keep up then. man i wish i wouldve known about this meet, ive been hella busy lately. Maybe a reno meet in the next couple of months, i saw some familiar faces in those pics. ie Santa Barbara meet, dam hella pissed i missed this one .
