Just drill it. Very easy. Takes around 20 seconds.

I drilled a hole in the drivers side just under the dash, worked like a charm

yep yep, if u open your hood by the driver side on painted part there's a cluster of wires, i just drilled a hole through there on my 96... i needed a long drill bit to get through... but after that the power wire ran perfectly under the carpet and though the door jams to the trunk.:D

Ok, here's where I went.
Open your hood, and look on the driver's side. There is alot of wiring and a module very very close to the passenger compartment near the windshield. It's fastened with a screw I believe.
I drilled a moderate sized hole right above it... goes right behind the dashboard. There is a surprising amount of room back there to run wires.
Pics tomorrow.

Are you saying 4 guage is too big? My amp requires 4 guage or bigger. Infact my brother had the same amp as me and he ran 8 and it started to melt the wire. 4 guage really isn't that big, just depends if you REALLY need it or not. It's also not hard to hide at all.
