I've almost got my engine bay put back together but... I need somebody to post a close up picture of the throttle linkage and the brackets. Thanks

I scanned a page out of the FSM with a diagram of the throttle cable connection. Here's a link....I didn't hotlink the pic since I scanned it at 300dpi and it's a whopper of a file.

Thanks for the scan Myetball, I greatly appreciate it, do you have a diagram of the vacumms?

Also can somebody tell me how many wires goes to the main bolt on the starting motor? I think my mechanic has some wires screwed up and he tryed to put another wire on the starter yesterday and the inside of the car filled with smoke, lucky it didn't blow the ECM or fry something in the wiring harness, now he is trying to tell me that the wire does go there anyway.

I scanned some info on the starter. Not sure if it will help. I'll be able to get to my car tomorrow and can check the wires. Basically anything connected to that bolt has full time battery power. So if something started smoking I'd say it aint right.

I did see a real grainy pic in the engine wiring section that looks like there are five wires and the battery cable on that bolt. I can verify tomorrow.

Unfortunately, no vacuum diagram in the FSM.

Thanks for the scans, I'm going to have to find somebody else to redo the main wiring harness. That wire that filled the car with smoke seems to control the cooling fan, I tryed to run it directly to the battery yesterday and the wiring is that screwed up that I couldn't even back the car up, it kept stalling on me, when I took the wire off it ran fine again. Now I have to find somebody thats knows how to redo it all over again.

Does anybody know where I can get a diagram of the vacumms on the 2.0L, there is a small vacumm diagram on the car itself but it doesn't show the vacumm thats on the back of the Air Intake and there are 2 vacumm lines coming from the booster soineld attched to one of the head bolts, the diagram only shows one vacumm line which goes to the turbo, I have no idea where the other one goes to. Thanks in advance.

on my car the boost solinoid has 5 conections, 3 on the driver and 2 on the passenger side. the wastegate should be run to the passenger side, the one closest to the firewall. the other one next to it apperes to be of no use. the three on the driver all run to the throttle body.
