Need to know if its possible

I just picked up a set of 255/50/16 for my 94 GA GT V6....need to know if its possible to put them on...without rubbing.....I've heard so many conflicting answers from the shops around here....I got them all for $50....Whats on mine right now is the standard 205/55/16.......I hope so....they are awsome...Or at least in the back? 255 50 16 are 26.04 in diameter & 205 55 16 are 24.88 in diameter . So about a inch taller . The speedo would be off , and it's possible they might rub . If you put a taller tire on the back than on the front , the ABS will get inproper input . Probably be better to get a 225 50 16 or the stock size .

You should stick with the stock tires.

Yeah, the 255s will be too tall. 225s work fine on the stock rims. I have set of 225/50s on my 95 GT.
