I had a little work done to my car over the last few days and it looks pretty sweet. I've got a small issue that I'd like to get everyones feedback on first though.

My upgrades:
Power Slot Rotors (front and rear)
Raybestos QS pads (F&R)
Kazara 17" KZ-T Wheels
Xeon 2XS 225/45/17
Eibach Pro Springs
KYB-GR2 Struts
Speedbuilt Front Anti Sway Bar

I got them all installed over the last 2 days. When I got my car back they said it was pulling to the left. The guy that did the alignment said everything was in line and it was probably due to the tires. I just want to know what you guys think.

pulls to the left hu? And all alignments right....When I had the same issue it was because of my strut mounts. The place that lowered my car didn't know there was bearings in the mounts and when they took them off the car they must have all came out(the ball bearings) and caused the mount to stick when the wheel was turned but there was a grinding noise that came with it.When you turn the wheel is there any noise? If you got lowered and got new struts I can almost garuntee the first thing to check would be those mounts.

I'll ask them to see what they say. All I know is the tires are not ballanced very well right now. I'm going to get that fixed as soon as I can. The place I got all the other work done didn't balance them. I had that done a few days ago.

Does it pull hard when you are braking?

No.but the breaking has improved greatly since getting the work done. I only really notice it when going faster than 25.

check your tire pressure just to make sure. a lower one on the left side would make you pull. even a few PSI will make it do this.

the front mounts for my 97 I think were 40 bucks a piece from like AutoZone or something. It may be more or less a couple bucks.

Woah woah woah. Bearings in the strut mounts??? Pics? Nothing fell out of mine and my springs and all were installed fine. My car pulls to the left and makes the infamous popping noise. Popping = may need to be greased...the part the spring sets on.

As for the pulling....most likely a bad strut mount or whatever its called...or even a bad strut.

well when a strut mount goes wrong, what do you think is the problem? it pulls to the left(or could be right as well sometimes, mine did both) because those ball bearings do exactly what they do best, roll and create a smooth rolling surface.I didn't believe it myself when I found out but the guy that put new ones on mine showed me my bad ones and in the metal rings that they set in you could see where they were, there were little indintations where dirt and grease was as well...But yes there are bearings in strut mounts, thats what helps let the wheel turn freely back, power steering helps as well but the bearings help keep it smooth. And if you didn't install them yourself you won't know if their in there anyways, this stuff is something you don't know unless you ask people who deal with it for a living,i found out the hard way.

well. i called the guy who installed my stuff.. he said that he remmembers me and remmembers that he greased up the bearings.. so now i'm scared that they are going out even if he greased them... But that wouldn't make sense though b/c everyone that has had them greased up said they are fine... :/

I know what you mean. I haven't had a chance to talk to the place that installed mine yet. After they had it aligned the person that did the alignment said something about tire pull. I don't know what it is and I don't see how non greased bearings could cause the car to pull like it does.
