i have an 02 grand am se, and for my system i have 2 fosgate P1's, and a 900 watt amp. it hits good but, and sounds great from the side of the car to the front, but when you go to the back all you hear is the trunk rattle and the spoiler and other stuff under the car. does ne one have ne suggestions on how to quiet down my truck other than dynamat?

Turn the system down....? I have the same problem with mine and it drives me crazy. Although my rattles aren'tas bad as some cars I've heard, even with my sound deadening the little rattles still bother me.
It's pretty much the joy of owning a system that produces a good amount of bass.

I hate trunk rattle too, it makes the overall appeal of the system go down. First off, I'm assuming you have fold down seats, so make sure they are down. This can reduce a lot of trunk rattle. Also if the subs are facing the rear, don't put them too close to the tail lights. Dynamat may help with the trunk rattle a little but unless you get between every piece of metal on the trunk lid then you will still have some rattle issues. I would check things like the spare tire and jack. Make sure the tire is in there nice and tight and wrap up the jack in a towel or something. Check all parts that may rattle because of vibration (tail lights, rear deck, loose wires, maybe even your exhaust is loose?). Your lock will probablt rattle a bit but there's really nothing you can do about it. Just a few things, check 'em out, it may fix some of the rattle. :)

my biggest problem was the trunk hinges arms that you you can't dynamat because they move, the rear deck rattles alot too
