Alright, I got an oil change today and then I got a free ticket for the touchfree car wash. the car was fine until i got out of the carwash and it was spitting and sputtering until the car actually shut off. I popped the hood to see if everything was on tight and it was then I noticed there was water in some places to I popped the little cap off the fenderwell and looked in and the cone was wet. I sat in the touchfree for 2 minutes car running. Now I think I might be getting water locked. What can I do to prevent it, and what might happen if I drive around?

If your engine is hydrolocked don't worry, you won't be driving around.

Now before you use the car again make sure you dry the filter thoroughly and completely. Inspect your CAI ducts for water. If there's water inside the ducts you'll have to take everything off and dry it, including the intake manifold.

Well the car is driving fine now, but the SES light is for P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire

If it's fine I would just reset the PCM....you know, disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes or so.

I use a touchless car wash all of the time and I've never had that happen. They must have a nozzle that points right into your fog light.

The SES light is off now. Hasnt came back on. Soon though I am going to do new plugs, wires, tune-up. I just hit the big 60K today.

i have had my car do that before i got a cai. I was driving in the rain and hit a deep puddle. It ran like crap, spitting and sputtering. I let it sit all night and it was fine.
