Does anyone know if a turbo setup or just a header is in existance for a 1990 GA SE with Quad4 DOHC HO motor? or do i just need to get a kustom setup?:???:

I believe Mantapart is working on something along those lines, but I don't really keep up with that stuff anymore. You could check it out at www.mantapart.com.

If you have the HO, i would just rebuild it and go all motor.

I would, but i love turbos and i really want to turbo this car. I've already started re-building the motor, but i haven't gotten so i can't turn back. i'm really just wanting something different, so i thought i'd turbo this car instead of a honda or a mitsu. stock, the car was already competing with most imports around here even a couple turbo cars and a couple v6's and v8's. instead of always getting beat by a bumper or fender length by these cars, i jus wanna pull away and laugh. yes nos would work jus fine but i like non nos power better.

There are a few turbo Quads on the Quadfourm (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/quadfourm). You could probably get some good tips from them. :) Don't know why I didn't think of that earlier...

Hate to sound biased, as I own mitsu. However when I had my quad I wanted to turbo with a Mitsu 16G large. They are very capable of 400-450hp and have launched many a DSM into the low 12's. However the T3/T4 Turbonetics is a beast when put on a potential motor that can handle forced induction and is tuned right.

Yes I realize this has nothing to do with a Turbo manifold.

-- I just finished! I don't have it on my car yet, but I want to see the difference it makes with just the header. I think I posted a picture of the merge collector on the previous page, but I made that head for the price of a spare LO header (you already have it), about $75 for stainless mandrel bends, and the cost of having someone finish my welding for me. Good luck!

Looks good Bryson! Can't wait to see it in action. :) (you are going to get a video of the car after it's done, right?)
