Where the heck is it?! I have a scan tool that gets this code after the CEL came on. It says that the hose is either off or plugged. I can't seem to find it anywhere!! Do I have to remove stuff to get to it or what?!

I'm thinking that perhaps it might be under that stupid plastic thingy before the intake manifold??

Hmm...alright. Well perhaps u guys could tell me where the EGR is on the 2.4L?? I'd really like to know!!

*edit* I cleared the code yesterday and it came back! Darned problems. So does anyone know where I can find this hose?

The 2.3 does not have a EGR or a PCV and as the 2.4 is for the most part the same motor....I'd bet it don't have one.

Check the O2 sensor.

Thanks for the tip! I'll have to check it soon. The light is really annoying!! Does anyone have anything else to add??

*btw, I bought one of those CTools scanners off of ebay and it works fairly well. It once detected my Air Intake Temp sensor had been malfunctioning, and it turned out to be unplugged.

?? Are you sure you set it up right for you car year and motor??

Seems funny it would give you a code for a par that does not exist on your car.

With that said, that's why I guessed the O2 sensor. There is not much air pollution crap on a 2.4. I know on the 2.3 the o2 is the only sensor for checking that stuff.

Well, the thing is that it gives generic codes for any OBD-II vehicle.
Like, it has its own reference manual for the codes it gives. It doesn't give codes like Pxxxx which is kind of annoying. O well.
