Tach

Oh k guys i was lookin at my car and i sparked an idea, i have a 96 grand am, there for i have circular air vents, i was woundering if i could take the lil grill thing out that controls where the air goes could i replace it with a tach, like i was woundering if it would be to hard to wire or sumthing, and what i would have to do to hook it all up, also, is there any way to remove the grills with out takin the hole dash out, cuz i tryed to pull it out and it didnt budge

Haha thats a pretty nice idea! I guess anythings possible with a little bit of work. Although, what would happen when you turn on the heat, or AC?

The grills pull out with the entire ring and everything. The help get them out you put a flathead screwdriver between the vinyl and ring.

i would probly put a block off on the vent i would do it on, and i dont have ac in my car lol

just turn the vents to block air from commin out and then grab th end and pull really hard they just pop out. if you go to www.cardomain.com/ride/2928795 thats my ride and it shows all the shit you can rip out.
