Starglow

I spent a lot of time this past weekend replacing the thermostat on my '99 Grand AM. I have seen posts from people who have said they did the change in 45 min. I would like to see that done without taking off the throttle body! I got it done, but what a pain it was getting at the bottom bolt on the housing cover. Then the old thermostat stuck to the housing cover and I had to use an exacto blade to free the old gasket enough to push the thermostat back into the engine so the housing cover could be pulled out. I don't consider myself a novice mechanic nor am I an expert, but this was not a 45 minute job without removing the TB to gain access to the thermostat housing bolts. Yes... I did take out the air box and MAF assembly.
