All of my dashlights work on my 1996 GT with the exception of the temperature controls. They are not coming on at all. Everything else comes on including the power windows/locks on the doors.
Any ideas as to what is going on, anyone?

Do the gauges all function fine?? Maybe the lights are just burn out but that seems strange that they would ALL burn out at the same time ... not sure what to tell you bud

The only lights not burning are the ones for the AC/Heater and Fan controls. Is there a bulb I can replace maybe?

I have this same problem. There are 2 little light bulbs behind the cover. I got them out of there place but couldn't figure out how to remove the bulb from the wire w/o breaking it. i played with the bulbs while the lights were on (all except the ac ones) and one of them flashed but never stayed on. I think i'm gonna go to a junk yard and grab the whole unit out of one and see if i can figure it out.

My friend had a similar problem where none of his dash lights worked. It ended up being a bad dimmer switch.

For every light in your cluster is a tiny bulb. It could be that a bulb is blown. Do you know how to take your dash apart and get to your gauges? If you can, I recommend you do it and check the bulb that lights up the temp display.
*BTW*
If it is the bulb, and you take it out and leave it out. Your "service engine light soon" will come on and will stay on till your replace the bulb.
