Need help for carpet repair...

I have a 96 grand-am GT its in PERFECT condition accept for a small hole in my floor carpet on the front passenger side it looks like its wear & tear.
Does anybody know how i could repair this small 1 inch tear?

i had a small tear in my carpet to it was showing off white and was a eye sore so i ended up taking a sharpie, black one and colored it in u cant tell the difference unless u look close enough! But how bad is it? Got any pics? And have u thought of floor mats maybe to just cover it up?

Sharpie a permanent marker, you can sniff and or write with them!! Im sure i spelled it the right way let me look around class for one and check my spelling!

And you say its a 1 in. tear right! So the other piece is still there or no?
