Will plus sizing by 2 inches have any effect on the performance or anything else for that matter? Or should I just go with +1"?

This is what I want and told to go with - P205/50 R17

And if there are any issues with Motegi MR7's with our cars?

According to the tire sizing calculator (which is "stuck" at the top of this section http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18318) the sizing is perfect. No issues I ever heard of with aforementioned rims that I know of.
